When the spring months come around, make sure your pool is ready. AAA Spa & Pool Services offers professional pool opening services to ensure your pool is swim-ready for the season. Our competitively-priced swimming pool opening services include the following:

Included with Openings

• Remove winter/manual cover
• Remove all plugs from plumbing lines
• Reconnect chemical feeder (if necessary)
• Re-install equipment (ladders, handrails etc)
• Re-install skimmer baskets and fittings
• Reconnect pump, filter and heater
• Reinstall pump, filter and heater drain plugs
• Turn on power  and verify proper settings for timers and controllers
• Check all valves and prime pumps
• Start pump and heater if there is a main drain to pool or if the water is to middle of skimmer
• Examine pool and equipment for any visible damage or leaks
• Chemicals Added as appropriate,  Homeowner will be charged for chemicals added

• Cancellation of scheduled service appointments must be done at least 24 hours before scheduled appointment. After hours messages via voicemail, email or text are not accessible to our service technicians.  A $__50__ fee will be charged if appointments are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance. 
• Please make all equipment accessible, power on to the breaker, etc  otherwise, a $__50__ return charge will apply. 
• Homeowner  is  responsible for having the extra water and leaves off the cover. If the cover has not been cleared of water and debris when our technician arrives the appointment will be canceled, and the customer will be charged a $50.00 rescheduling fee. Cover Pumps are available for purchase through AAA Spa & Pool Services.  Please call ahead if you need our technician to bring a new cover pump.(We will pump WATER off the cover when a new pump is purchased and then schedule a return appointment for the opening of the pool)   We understand that it may be impossible to get all the debri off.  We will do our best to remove the cover without getting debri into the pool but there is no guarantee it won’t get in the pool water.  
• We do not clean pools.  We will put the opening chemicals into the pool, Homeowner will be charged for chemicals added.  
• Bring a water sample into the store for water analysis 72 hours after the pool is opened.

Pool Closing Services

When winter comes around, make sure your pool is ready. AAA Spa & Pool Services offers pool closing services to ensure your pool is ready to hibernate in winter. Our competitively-priced swimming pool closing services include the following:

Included with Closing

• Put on winter/manual cover
• Place all winter plugs, gizzmo etc in appropriate spots*
• Disconnect chemical feeder (if necessary)
• Un-install equipment (ladders for the ingrounds, handrails etc)
• Remove skimmer baskets and fittings, (all small fittings are put in the baskets)
• Disconnect pump, filter and heater 
• Remove pump, filter and heater drain plugs (all small fittings are put in the baskets)
• Turn off power if accessible, we do not go into homes, garages without prior authorization.  If power is not accessible, Homeowner will need to have it shut off before arrival.
• Add antifreeze to lines, every pool takes different amounts, Homeowner will be charged on final payment
• Chemicals Added as appropriate, Homeowner will be charged for chemicals added

• Auto-fill shut offs inside the home must be accessible, otherwise, a $50 return charge will apply. 
• Prior to closing, the pool must be clean, free of debris, and chemically balanced to prevent damage to your pool finish. We do not clean pools.
• Pools with a Solid or Tarp cover require periodic removal of rain accumulation. Water and debris should be kept to a minimum.
• Above Ground Pools Only- The water level must be lowered before we arrive
• Above Ground Pools Only- Remove Step or Ladder before we arrive
• Chemicals should be stored in a clean/dry area away from ladders, pumps, etc.
